Recently you may of received one or more E-mails promoting a new one day seminar called BuilSpec. Chances are you looked at it (briefly) and regarded it with similar respect to seminars on equally interesting topics such as buying life insurance, filling out expense reports, or understanding the latest code manuals. Mildly interesting at best, but not worth spending a day at.

What may not be clear is that BuilSpec is actually much more then a day about how to specify control systems.

In reality BuilSpec has proven to be a very interactive day that is focused on all areas of change in our industry. The seminar digs into both the business and technical changes that are driving the whole movement of facilities convergence. These changes start with the fundamental needs of providing safe, efficient and productive facilities. We look at how this follows dramatic change in other parts of organizations such as manufacturing, finance, and human resources. BuilSpec pulls together many simultaneous changes such as new standards for structured cabling, low cost processing, new IT standards, changes to CSI formats, and entry of new and consolidation of existing system suppliers.

All of this adds up to a view of an industry at the brink of dramatic change. This will over the next several years re-define the role of the facility manager, consulting engineer, contractor, and supplier. If you are in any of these roles – then you need to come to BuilSpec. This one day session will give you a chance to experience this in an interactive manner with your peers, better understand the issues, and place you in a position to create the strategy and tactics that will drive your firm forward over the next five years. Those that do not take the time to understand the magnitude and impact of these changes may not be involved in our industry 5 years from now. The choice is yours to make. We would strongly encourage you to join us to better understand your options!

Interested in attending? It's not too late.
